In a truly embarrassing and difficult situation, President-elect Barack Obama is being forced to change his first name. Israel Defense Minister Ehud Barak has taken out a copyright on the name 'Barak' and all it's spellings. Mr. Obama must now change his name or face a stiff penalty.
President Obama has tried negotiating with Mr. Barak who snidely refers to our Leader as 'that other Barak'. Minister Barak contends that he must have financial re-compensation for the mental anguish he experiences being confused with A.- an American, B.- someone from another race, and C.- a Gentile.
When Mr. Obama threatened legal action, Minister Barak countered saying "Remember, Israel too has the atom bomb! And I am, after all, the Israeli Defense Minister! Bhwaa, haaa, haaa, haaa!" He then thumbed his nose at our Barack.
The two Baraks will meet at Camp David to further discuss the problem. The Palestinians will act as negotiators.
