Prince Mike Okoye, former Chief accountant of National Oil Nigeria PLC has explained today the issues that he faced when his cries for help via email were blocked by various Spam email filters.
"I was in a desperate situation and was ready to pay a high price for someone's help. I choose to use email as it was the easiest way to contact a large number of people at the same time and I was sure that someone would come forwards. Unfortunately the whole world thought my email was, how you say, Spam?"
Having located the emails that Prince Okoye sent, he does indeed explain that the $27 million he has been able to identify as surplus funds, needs urgently transferring to a foreign bank account. He offfers 25% for the person willing to help him.
Prince Okoye has since resolved his own issues and is now campaigning vigourously for the removal of all Spam filters from email accounts to prevent the same issue meeting any others in dire straits.
