Famous Magician Disappears

Funny story written by Illusnist

Friday, 26 December 2008

World famous stage magician, Arte Cromweiler, disappeared last week before a crowd of thousands. Mr. Cromweiler, who is notorious for making things vanish briefly, was last heard uttering what many eyewitnesses believe was some sort of incantation.

"I thought it was part of the act," one witness reported, "especially when he became kinda see-through-ish. And then he was gone."

After twenty minutes, it became apparent to those in attendance that the great illusionist wasn't coming back, despite it being only 5 minutes into the show.

Later, reactions were mixed. Many attendees were awed by such a display of power, but the vast majority simply wanted their money back. Investigators are baffled, and specially trained dogs have been brought in to aid in the investigation, but have repeatedly been confused by the overwhelming number of rabbits living in the magician's hat.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
