Cause of 'pileup'

A man on board a train in western France, travelling from La Rochelle to Bordeaux, had one of the most embarrassing and painful experiences of his life while sitting on the train's toilet.

Events that followed could not be made up. In this case the truth IS stranger than fiction!

56 year-old Pierre Poulong from Paris was returning home from a weekend of visiting his sick grandmother in La Rochelle when he felt the urge to 'go'. After sitting on the throne and writing a text to his wife, he accidentally nudged the flush button with his elbow. The toilets' powerful flush mechanism not only eliminated his elimination, it also sucked his haemorrhoids down the u-bend. So excruciating was the pain that he dropped his mobile phone down the pan and it was submerged in clean toilet water and as he tried to retrieve it, he also got his arm stuck there.

Screams alerted the guard, who immediately stopped the train and alerted firemen to try and cut the toilet bowl away. The operation took a couple of hours and Pierre was rushed to the nearest hospital where he was treated for a broken arm and rectal bleeding which required several stitches and cauterisation.

Monsieur Poulong told In Seine News;

" C'a été mon plus mauvais cauchemar et je ne veux jamais passer par la douleur comme cela encore. J'ai lambiné le téléphone vers le haut maintenant mais il n'importe pas parce que c'était merde de toute façon !"

("This has been my worst nightmare and I never want to go through pain like that again. I have buggered the phone up now but it doesn't matter because it was crap anyway!")

Wannapoo is France's leading mobile phone network provider.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
