A waxwork doll of the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler has been given a new head, just hours after losing it to some deranged bloke. Angela Merkel, also Chancellor of Germany immediately gave her predecessor a head allegedly saying; "Shame on him, he should lose his head for zis. He has brought shame to ze Fatherland."
A new museum depicting the history of Germany opened its doors to the public for the first time today. The figure showing a rather glum-looking Hitler in his bunker during the last days of the war with Germany has been slammed for being in bad taste. Critics said it was inappropriate to display the Nazi dictator in a museum alongside celebrities, pop stars, world statesmen and the like because it would actually highlight what a good chap he was.
Madame Tussauds responded to criticism saying it would have been an error not to include Hitler. Helga Sticklgruber, a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds told In Seine News;
"Because ve are are portraying ze history of Germany ve could hardly have left him out, could ve? After all, he vas ze most famous man in ze 20th century. Indeed zere are some dunkhopts who claim Hitler did not exist at all. We want to show ze reality Besides, London's Madame Tussauds features a waxwork of a quite youthful Hitler in its museum so vy can't ve have an older one?"
It took about four months on the waxwork for about 25 workers, who used more than 2,000 pictures and pieces of archive film to produce the finished article. The figure was originally based on the Charlie Chaplain model in Tussauds, London.
