In Finland yesterday, a teacher issued a complaint to the National Education Board after being victim to a violation of human rights. Mr Brian Svornson, 28, issued the complaint after he claimed that his students "would not allow him to join in their game of marbles".
The children were not available for comment today, but they did issue a statement in which they claimed that while the teacher was witness to the students playing marbles, the students did offer several times to the teacher if he wanted to join in, to which the teacher eventually agreed, but was soundly thrashed and thus lost all his marbles.
A representative of the board told us today that this matter would be taken with the upmost seriousness, as he had seen the teacher's marbles and some of them were indeed quite rare.
