In a controversial move, the Mexican government has begun hanging "English-Only" signs throughout the country. This measure has angered Mexicans.
"If I wanted to speak English, I'd move to England!" An irate local said through an interpreter. "We don't speak English in the United States. Why should we speak it here?"
Jose Maria de Luis, a top cabinet Mexican official said that Mexicans are going to have to learn English if they want to move to the United States illegally. Breaking the language barrier will bridge a gap in the relationship between Mexico and the United States.
