WASHINGTON (FMLiveWire) - Arrests of bankers and senior US politicians due to the massive "Wantagate" scandal have finally begun, reports Worldreports.org.
The complicated scandal involves the theft of some 4.5 trillion US dollars from their trustee Ambassador Leo Wanta of Virginia-based AmeriTrust Group by bankers and top politicians, and their continuing interference with the Wanta settlement of restitution.
Thirty-seven bankers were arrested on November 1, and 3,000 more bankers and others are understood facing imminent arrest.
The entire board of Citibank are now believed to be arrested by the Provost Marshal General of the US Army, who has that power to do so.
The offices of the criminal enterprise of Citibank/Citgroup in New York City hold the Wanta funds.
President George W. Bush, VP Dick Cheney, Henry Paulsen, H.G.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton are among those who could also face arrest in the scandal.
The $4.5 trillion Wanta funds were originally used to undermine the Soviet Union via financial arbitrage and cause its breakup, as ordered by US President Ronald Reagan.
A massive media blackout into this extraordinary affair continues (this is a true story but reads like spoof).
