Vice President Dick Cheney said the nation must prepare for an inevitable nuclear strike against Iran. He said that if we do not strike soon, the Iranians will succeed in building nuclear weapons, which they might use in self-defense, in order to keep us from stealing their oil.
Cheney noted that other nations in the world already have nuclear weapons, but none of them have such large oilfields underneath their soil.
Cheney said that the nuclear strike must take place soon, because everyone acknowledges that the Democrats will win the next election, and it won't be possible to stage such a strike when Pro-Al Queda sympathizers take control of the White House.
