The adult version of "can we have our ball back" went horribly wrong for OJ Simpson and his friend, who ended up being arrested.
It is reported that OJ and a friend went to a hotel room and burst in unannounced to retrieve a ball owned by Simpson from two bigger blokes who had stolen it, and wouldn't give it back.
Simpson and his buddy allegedly had taken guns with them to reinforce the argument that they should have the ball back, but this didn't work when the bigger blokes had guns, too.
A police spokesman, interviewed for TV, said, "It appears that OJ and his friend went to the hotel to get OJ's stuff back. Instead of knocking on the door and asking, like any normal people would, they chose to rush in waving guns. We have arrested the guilty bastard and will get him this time. Sorry, could we do that take again?"
