CCN (Crazy Cal News) - Washington - The U.S. Senate voted to raise prices for car fuel by increasing the mileage all cars must get to an average fuel economy of 35 miles per gallon for new cars, pickup trucks and SUVs by 2020, raising efficiency standards that have not changed significantly for nearly two decades.
"If we take all cars off the road that get less than 35 miles per gallon average," said a leading Democrat, who will remain unnamed, "we can keep all the people who can't afford new cars off the road, thus reducing the emissions into our atmosphere. Just think of all the poor people it will keep off the road, too!"
The poor thought that putting Democrats in office would help them significantly, and this has disillusioned many of the voters who put them in office.
"In the presidential election, I'm not voting for a Democrat OR a Republican. Neither of them have helped us get out of Iraq, and neither of them give a darn about the poor," said one disgruntled voter.
It seems that everyone but Ron Paul has completely disregarded the needs and desires of the voters. Will Ron Paul still have a chance after being kept out of the Iowa Debate, kept out by Giuliani and the Iowa Christian Alliance? Will Freedom, Democracy, and the Constitution of the United States be thrown out of America forever? Are there any REAL Christians left in Iowa? Stay tuned to TheSpoof.com for the latest updates.
