9/11 - a fudge?

Osama bin Laden has released a new video to the Al Jazeera television network, in which he sensationally reveals the real reason for the 9/11 attacks was not malicious, just incompetent.

"In 2001, we were hoping to drop leaflets on New York to ask ordinary Americans if they would like to buy some fudge. We printed out hundreds of the leaflets, all with my address on them. You see, we make a lot of fudge out here in Afghanistan but nobody wants to buy it. We hoped that dropping leaflets on the fudge-loving city would encourage them to buy some."

"Sadly our pilots were poorly trained and as there are a lot of tall buildings in New York, they couldn't help but hit them."

"I would like to take this opportunity to ask the people of New York that if they want to buy some fudge, they should send $10 to me, Osama Bin Laden, at Cave 6, Afghanistan."

But the US Government was quick to criticise the video. A spokesman said, "Bin Laden and his fudge-packers are cynically trying to make us send them money. It's all lies, we must exterminate them."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
