The nation of Japan is panicking after it was discovered that the country had sprung a leak late last night and could sink to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. The leak was found by Shinji Ono, a credit controller from Kyoto who said he found it in his basement.

"When I found the leak I rang the authorities immediately to warn them" said Mr Ono. Since the leak occurred parts of the country have already suffered severe floods. US President Barack Obama had already pledged to send a crack team of plumbers to the country to help solve the problem. However Japanese scientists had released a statement this morning confirming that already the sea levels had raised and the fear is that the entire country of Japan could be completely submerged by January 2015.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
