Tel Aviv, Israel (The Surreal Press) - The recently formed Aryan Nation issued its most controversial public announcement to date when it claimed that the Israeli government was controlled by people of the Jewish faith.
"Over 98% of the Israeli Knesset [is Jewish], and 19 of the 20 Cabinet ministers are [Jewish] as well. It's clear who runs things in this country," a spokesman for Aryan Nation said late yesterday.
Aryan Nation also suggested that Israeli newspapers and other media were owned, controlled, or unduly influenced by corporations with Jewish owners.
The Knesset assured the Israeli people that they remain committed to increasing the diversity of Cabinet ministers but denied allegations of a secret plot conspiring against Aryans.
"Through our commitment to increasing Arab language services we are working towards seeing an increased presence of Arab-Israelis in the Knesset and Cabinet," a government spokesman said earlier today.
