VATICAN CITY - Pope Francis recently stated that he is not a military expert by any means but added that he doesn't have to be since he is the pope.
Speaking to a reporter with The Vatican View, Pope Francis commented that he has been keeping up with the Russian-Ukrainian situation and he is clearly on the side of the Ukraine.
He pointed out that he recently texted President Vladimir Putin a message telling him to stop with his territorial aggression immediately or encounter the wrath of the church.
The pope stated that Putin has not responded to his message. Pope Francis said that even though he is a man of peace, he also adheres to the Danish axiom that enough is enough.
In keeping with that belief he has spoken with Italian President Pasquale Pasta and suggested that he send military troops to the Ukraine at once, in order to help the Ukrainian Army in their fight against the Soviet aggressors.
SIDENOTE: A source within the Italian government stated that President Pasta commented that Pope Francis needs to concern himself with the dry cleaning of his papal robes and keep his nose out of government matters.
