The VS Mekong Mongoose is the most powerful warship in the Vietnamese Navy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The United Nations is reporting that they have just received word from the Vietnamese government that they have deployed one of their warships The VS Mekong Mongoose towards the East Siberian Sea, located north of Russia.

The U.N. states that the Mekong Mongoose will be there simply as a watchdog overseeing the situation between Russia and the Ukraine.

Since Vietnam has excellent trade relations with the Ukraine it is obvious that Vietnam will totally support the Ukraine should Russian President Putin decide to invade.

A spokesperson for the Vietnamese government commented that even though his country may be very small, it has a great big heart and the Mekong Mongoose is armed with a dozen Polaris missiles.

Meanwhile, President Putin when told about the Mekong Mongoose started laughing so hard he spilled a glass of Vodka on his Director of Computers Edward Snowden.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
