MOSCOW - Vodkavich, Russia's national news agency, is reporting that President Vladimir Putin has extended an invitation to former host of The Tonight Show Jay Leno to be his honored guest at The Sochi XXII Winter Olympics.

The Russian president caught Leno's last show and he thought that comedian Billy Crystal was real funny.

He then said that he did not understand a single word that the cowboy singer Garth Brooks sang.

Putin was told by an adviser what Brooks had sung and he asked, "Well why in the world would a man be so proud of having friends in low places - I mean what the hell is that quarterhorse crapovich all about huh?"

Vodkavich stated that President Putin has been a fan of Jay Leno's ever since he took over The Tonight Show from the master Johnny Carson 22 years ago.

SIDENOTE: Jay Leno called President Putin and thanked him for his fabulous offer but he said that right now he is still trying to collect his thoughts and is trying to figure out how he will stick it to NBC.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
