Rioters in Bangladesh are causing much misery, death and destruction just to add to the "normal" misery that their people must suffer on a daily basis.
The rioters are up-in-arms about a death sentence given to a citizen claiming it was politically motivated and have decided to kill, destroy, burn and ruin everything that the poorest country doesn't have.
Bangladesh people suffer from floods, poverty, hunger, slave working conditions (if they're lucky), disease, terrible hygiene in the slums and, to top it all, people running riot in their cities.
One rioter interviewed by Bangladesh TV before throwing a molotov cocktail at a police armoured vehicle gave the following comment after being asked why the hell he was rioting; here his answer:
"We have nothing better to do, no jobs, no money, no life, no future, only our belief in Allah and hate of everything thing else here; and that is why we are rioting!"
Cynics would say, "well they haven't got naything anyway so get on with it!" A well known clothing brand, starting with N and ending with E, has decided to up-roots and move over to Cambodia because the days of Killing Fields are over and there aren't that many people here anymore.
