Washington, DC - As President Barak Obama prepares to meet with Seal Team 6, the First Dog, Bo, also prepares to meet the canine counterparts of the elusive special ops group. Christopher Guffman, Press Secretary for the First Dog had confirmed that Bo will accompany the President to an unknown location to meet the elite group of canines.
While the US Navy will not confirm the use of dogs in their elite forces that killed the terrorist, it has been widely reported by Navy Seal bloggers in addition to Google Earth that such dogs were on the mission. Up until the Google Earth image, the Navy would only state dogs were used for troop morale. The dogs are useful in detecting roadside bombs and finding terrorists, in addition to helping to combat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
In preparation for the event, the First Dog has gone sky diving with the US Army Golden Knights. His first two jumps were tandem. Lt. Col. Joseph Keating states, "The First Dog is a natural. We are currently training him to jump solo."
The First Dog has been to several media events with the President and his family; however this is his first time to accompany the President without Malia and Sasha. The First Dog is reported to feel excited about the trip and to get away from the girls for a change.
