The cobra that went AWOL out of the New York zoo has been located in Central park after several twitters led local snake hunters on a wild mongoose (they love snakes too) chase.
It was spotted by two male New Yorkers escorting their bitch out for a walk. The cobra spread its neck out looking for dinner and spotted the bitch between the two men.
Fancying a bit of a bitch for supper the creepy cobra slid forwards out of the grass and flew with enormous velocity towards her. Luckily the bitch was a bit of a pitbull; saw the sneaky cobra attacking from the rear (as usual) and turned, snarled her teeth at the reptile, it spat venom, missed its target and the bitch pursued it into the bushes dragging one of the males behind her, lucky hound.
The shocked bitch is now being soothed by a passing male mongrel and Twitters swear they last saw the cobra slithering towards a back alley behind Burger King in Times square, hoping not for a burger to satisfy its hunger, but for some of the rats that eat them!
