Sudanese, pygmy dwarf beauty, Looka Likobama, was to be featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated 2011 Swimsuit Addition.
The 42 inch young lady, who has appeared on numerous "small people" fashion magazine covers, was the odds on favorite to be so honored. However, because she refused to wear 30 inch high heel shoes that would have brought her up to the 6 foot minimum requirement for this cover, she was left off, and instead, snarky Russian beauty, Irina Shayk, was chosen to be the cover girl.
Disappointed to say the least, Looka vowed that she would be back next year after undergoing stretching exercises that would obviate the need for her to wear high heeled sneakers.
"This silliness has got to stop before someone gets injured falling off their shoes. Just because I'm small and the other models are tall doesn't mean that I should have to meet their stupid requirements. After all, I'm flesh and blood just like they are. Boobs are boobs, and butts are butts."
