As is the custom in Egypt when returning favors, former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, bestowed on President Obama the reins to his beloved pet racing camel, Spigot.
The speedy dromedary was twice Egyptian Grand Champion in the 10,000 meter intermediary dune crawl. Spigot was given his name for his penchant for peeing in mid-stride while coasting into the finish line, thrilling bystanders who sought souvenirs of the legendary camel.
Spigot and his entourage of handlers arrived yesterday and presented the bemused Obama his first live "pee-in" demonstration at the south end of the Rose Garden.
With the usual fanfare given in such occasions, the President handed the reins over to his faithful sidekick, Vice President Biden, who led the high strutting Spigot over to the House of Representatives where he gave Congressman Barney Frank the first shot at the studly dromedary.
