CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews and Some Other Network Declared Disaster Area.

WASHINGTON, DC - William Craig Fugate, Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency declared all four cable news networks (CNN, MSNBC, Fox News and some other anonymous network) a Federal Disaster Area after they screwed the pooch on their coverages of Hurricane Earl.

Fugate held a press conference today in the Watergate Hotel to discuss the order: "All four major cable news networks disseminated erroneous and exaggerated reports on the status of the hurricane, causing many businesses in the Atlantic states to lose considerable business."

"It appears that all of the networks intentionally misled their viewers to increase ratings with total disregard to the facts" he added.

Due to the Disaster order, the cable news networks can now borrow money from the taxpayers at zero percent interest.
