Rolling news out of control

Funny story written by j.w.

Twenty four hour news channels are out of control. 'They keep on reporting the same things again and again and transmit pictures repeatedly. It gives me a headache' complained a TV addict. This is but one example of an addiction that has doctors worried as people visit their surgeries with spinning heads and red eyes.

Even if there is no news these channels serve up news for addicts which leaves them incapable of doing a day's work. Children are being ignored by their mothers who have to see, yet again, rain falling or an aeroplane crashing. One addict saw the same plane crash 88 times in the same day. Such exposure is bound to have dire results.

Addicts have to copy what they see and feel they must crash their cars and take photos of rain continually.

The crisis of rolling news is bound to keep revolving. The future will be a real news story as madness spreads throughout society.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
