Obama with his feet on the Oval Office desk

WASHINGTON, DC - On President Barack Hussein Obama's first day back in the office from his tenth vacation in three months, he has returned to a freshly redecorated Oval Office with a jungle-theme to make the President feel more at-home.

A White House spokesman told Spoof News that the administration had no immediate comment on the Drudgery Report that "workers had been busy installing ferns, fronds, vines, etc. in the Oval Office." But mediamatter.web, pounced, defending the Obama administration has every right to decorate the White House in a manner that reflects the President's home-country of Kenya.

President Obama has an address scheduled Tuesday evening from the Oval Office on the end of combat operations in Iraq, but under White House protocol, the cameras will be allowed to focus only on the President at his desk, without wider angle views of the vines and vegetation.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
