SHREVEPORT, Louisiana - Bristol Beth Van Loop, 27, who was born with an amazing six legs, entered a local dance contest and won.
The dance contest director at first said that he was going to have to disqualify Miss Van Loop, but then when all of the 17 participants protested he decided to award her with The Golden Loins Award.
Miss Van Loop, says that she has been dancing up a storm ever since she was four, when she first realized that she had two extra pairs of legs.
When asked if the extra pair of legs also allow her to run faster she replied that they certainly do. She said that last year she outran the women's 100 yard dash champion of Louisiana.
She also said that as a little girl growing up in Shreveport she never once missed the ice cream truck.
Van Loop was asked if she had ever been married. She replied that she had but that her husband had left her because he hated the idea that when they played basketball on their driveway she would literally run circles around him.
She said that he just could not take it and so he ran off with a woman he had met at a local bar who had three ears.
SIDENOTE: Van Loop says that she likes the fact that she has two extra pairs of legs except for the fact that she spends a lot of money shaving her legs. She does have a boyfriend, Throcko "Bling Bling" Jefferson whom she says really enjoys rubbing her six thighs.
