Sometimes when reporting on a legitimate news item such as the fact that a former Minnesota senator is eyeing the soon-to-be vacant chair of the RNC currently held by Michael Steele, you get so side-tracked just by a photo.
This is so in the present case. Norm Coleman is a former Minnesota senator. He's a Republican. If he doesn't have the longest head of anyone alive, he sure comes close. If you don't believe us, look it up for yourself. I mean, that guy's head has to be at least two feet long from crown to chin. According to the Book of Records, only one other man alive today has a longer head and that man is Randy Travis. As a matter of fact, Coleman looks a lot like Travis.
Coleman's high forehead and disproportionately small nose make the length of his face even more prominent.
We thought we'd bring this to light as we feel that too much attention is sometimes paid on the politics of a person and not enough attention is focused on their appearance. None of this really matters anyway, however, as Norm Coleman doesn't really have a chance in hell of becoming the next Chairman of the RNC.
