The century long family war has stepped up to a new level when the Hillbilly families each put up Facebook accounts.
Liberally sprinkled with endearing pictures of babies and couples enjoying vacations in different fun spots. The pages also show a darker side with vintage family pictures including red "x's" drawn over different deceased members faces. Some of the photos have ominous looking tally marks at the bottom showing competing scores.
In a recent post, one Hatfield member posed the question, "Why don't one of ya'll come on down by Possum Crick Saturday all by yaself?"
The reply came from a McCoy, " I bet ya'll think we're stoopid enuf to fall fer yer little game! Maybe ya'll just have a little aksedent yerself one of these here days!"
The two families have shown a penchant for joining the Facebook groups, "Farmville", "Mafia Wars", and "Shootin' at cotton-pickin' varmints whats on our property!"
