Conspiracy theorists are claiming that the planes that hit the two towers in the 911 incident were drones operated by pilots who could have been hundreds of miles away.
Americans are using drones at present in warfare. They are launched near areas of combat but are then flown by remote control,via satellite links,operated by pilots who could be hundreds or even thousands of miles away.
Modern warfare is going to end up like robot wars with drones, planes without a pilot but instead loaded with bombs and missiles. In the future there is talk of land based motorised robots capable of mercilessly killing thousands of people as they are sent into the enemies ranks with devastating consequences.
