A married couple visiting a New Mexico ski valley both severed their legs this past weekend while skiing and the surgeon who reattached the limbs switched the legs in a medical error. The couple, Tina and Fred Jones of Austin, Texas, who were visiting the ski valley for their annual vacation, awoke to find they each had one of the other's legs.
The surgeon's name that performed the operation was not released, however, colleagues of the physician told the press he was having marital problems at home. The marital problems as it turns out, is his wife's desire to have a sex change operation to become a man. "My goal is to go from Karen to Ken," she told reporters. "He could do the surgery," she pouted, "he is a SURGEON ya know!"
Meanwhile, back at the hospital surgical recovery ward, hundreds of right women's high-heels were donated as well as a few men's right clogs intended for the Jones's and their return trip to Austin.
"It's kind of funny said Fred Jones, but I'm OK with it all," he laughed. Tina Jones did not appear as easy-going as her husband and immediately hailed a cab to the nearest attorney's office she could find, leaving her husband wobbling on one red high heel and one men's clog. "He's an idiot and always has been," Tina told reporters. "If he had brain what a half wit he'd be!"
In response to Tina's statement, her attorney pointed out her observation was from the Broadway musical and movie, Chicago.
