Marc Mezvinsky, newly announced fiance of Chelsea Clinton, confirmed rumors today that he is only marrying her for the dowry. Chelsea, the daughter of former United States President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, is 29 years old and has never married.
Mezvinsky said that he and Clinton have been in a relationship for several years, but it was only when the dowry reached twenty million dollars that he agreed to the marriage. "Sure, we've always been friends," he said, "but it was more in the boy and his dog kind of way."
The groom admits that part of the prenuptual agreement stipulates that he must produce at least two children with Chelsea. "I'm sure that I can do it. It will have to be totally dark and I'm sure that liquor will be involved, but I can do it."
There is no truth to the rumors that Mezvinsky is blind or mentally handicapped.
