Washington, D.C. - Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi announced yesterday that she will no longer support the Democratic healthcare bill, currently being debated in the United States Senate.
Pelosi elaboated on her decision noting that although she has already voted "yes" to help pass the bill through the House, she had just recently gotten the time to actually read and review the language of the bill.
Upon her reading of section 542-1.a, she realized that the government health plan would no longer cover expenses related to cosmetic surgery and procedures such as Botox injections.
During the press conference, it was obvious that Pelosi was boiling over this last-second revision to the bill she knew nothing about, in spite of the fact that she was unable make her face scowl, no matter how hard she tried.
In related news, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called a press conference immediately following Pelosi's announcement so he could reiterate his support of the healthcare bill stating "I'm in favor of the bill because, after all, Viagra is still covered... and that is a hard fact."
