Local man Tom Barnett, 48, has been entertaining youngster's since the early 1980's by travelling around in his battered Fiat 137 and putting on night time puppet shows.
Described by friends and colleague as 'Gay' - I the quaint old meaning of the word -the ever-giving man says he enjoys giving pleasure to all the young people he encounters on his travels.
Tom sets up his travelling puppet show beneath bridges and near canals and puts on popular shows such as 'Punch & Judy' and 'Puppetry of the Penis'.
"Oh, sometimes I get quite a reaction from the audience! I'm quite daring and I see my work as my art", chuckles the fat fuck.
Young male runaways particularly 'enjoy' Tom's shows and the fact that he pays them to watch is quite an incentive to come - pun intended!
