Mouse tells cat to keep away from Homer Simpson

It has been confirmed by Marge Simpson that her husband Homer has contracted swine flu.

Speaking from his bedside at the Springfield City Hospital, Mrs Simpson said that her husband was extremely comfortable, although the doctor did ask that with Homer's current health situation that she sit on a bedside chair instead.

Accompanied by children Bart, Lisa, and Maggie, who had not so much been specially taken out of Springfield Elementary School as expelled in order to visit their father, the main worry is that Mr Simpson doesn't pass the virus on to any pigs.

The doctors at the hospital prescribed various drugs to assist with Mr Simpson's speedy recovery - Baniflu, Banishcoff, Virusrid - to name but some of them, but working with their local church pastor Reverend Lovejoy, Mr Simpson has chosen his own route of unique alternative and complementary medicines, which includes hot dogs, burgers, steaks and copious quantities of beer.

In order to inhibit the spread of the disease, the Simpson family have been requested to stay away from Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Mickey Mouse and Scooby Doo, although attempts are being made to get Kenny from South Park to visit as soon as possible.

However, Mr Simpson claims that it is his swine flu, and now that he has got it, he certainly isn't sharing it with anybody else because it's all his.

No one elses.

Doh!

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
