In a move politicians say is designed to further the second term interest, President Barack Obama has legally changed his middle name to "Peter".

"This is a brilliant move on the President's part", stated House Leader Nancy Pelosi. "He already has the Osama name so it will not offend the Muslims and by changing his middle name to a heart-warming Peter, he'll add many voters for 2012."

According to the President himself, he said he was tired of Talk Radio's "Hussein" jokes and parodies or the Conspriacy People claiming he's not even an American, so what can make a person seem more American or even British than "Peter"?

Even political foes say it was a great move.

"Oh, it was a great move this Peter thing", stated Sarah Palin. "What woman doesn't like a globe-trotting always moving Peter? If the country holds together for the rest of his four-year term, he's helped himself with the women voters already. But you have to get used to it, roll it about the tongue."

"There's no doubt that old women in particular love their Peter", stated Obama's foe in the last election, John McCain. "I considered changing my middle name during the run for the White House to "Lucas". John Lucas McCain! The Rifleman! But I knew everyone had had enough of the war in Iraq and needed no more reminders."

In opposition, Rush Limbaugh stated that it was a silly move. "Barack Peter? Sounds like Black Peter. Isn't that another name for the devil? Let's put together a parody song on 'Black Betty'. Personally, I think he's petering out of ideas."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
