Even though Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton lost in the presidential primaries last year, some Democrats are putting together a campaign to bring Hillary back into the spotlight for 2012.
Bernie Snoppler, a spokesman for Democrats For Democrat Leaders or DDL, an 81 year old veteran of World War II, made this statement on WllU, "When I was in the war, we looked up to our leaders. We had leaders we could stand in front of and know they were there to back us soldier boys up! They were men of mean snarling tough character and strong leadership who made everybody there believe that America was worth fighting and dying for.
Personally, I think that Barack Obama is a basketball-playing, smooth-talking pansy! While Hillary "Ride-em" Clinton has the face of a man that would put some respect, fear, backbone, and highly-taxed hard work back into our government.
Sergeant Snoppler 's sentiment seems to be echoed highly in the corridors of the U.S. Senate. "I felt that Hillary was clearly the best choice," said Horacia Bell Hardbottom, 86, "even with that funny husband, is the kind of man we need at the helm. One look at him and no one will ever question this state's commitment to its issues and it's nuclear weapons up our wazzoo!" All of Mrs. Hardbottom's fellow residents at the Quilting Society nodded in agreement to her statement and rattled their needles.
"And General Swartskopf as a cross-ticket VP. With those two men in there, we would have some respect in this old world like we used to", contributed Sally Forth DDL member.
Despite the public support that is currently coming out of some of the Senate halls and can be heard over Larry Craig in the stalls, most agreed that the "Smiley Face" president is in charge for now!
