In the late 1970's, while Jimmy Carter was President of the United States, he had a treehouse built in the trees of the White House lawns for his daughter Amy. While the treehouse was not used in the Reagan, Bush senior, or Clinton administrations, George W. Bush was known to play there on weekends and hold occasional "top secret" club meetings there.
New President Barack Obama has two young daughters (Malia and Sasha) and has forbidden them to use the historic treehouse. Is it because the wood is rotting and the treehouse is dangerous? Is it because he doesn't want them falling and getting hurt? Is it because they are being punished for a misdeed?
No.
The reason that Barack Obama does not want his daughters using the treehouse is because he is black. Said Obama, "I don't want no redneck Republicans sayin' that there goes them house apes swingin' in the trees again. Ain't nothin' gonna change after all. My daughters is gonna play Barbies and have tea parties like the rich little white girls."
