In a fit of outrage yesterday, President Obama banned Apple computers from the United States. His official statement was, "The computers made by Apple, Inc. are destroying the economy." And without any further ado, he turned around and marched back into the Oval Office, brand new Dell PC in hand.
But is that our President's real reason for sacking the Mac? Several correspondents of mine think that Obama is not telling the truth. As one reporter reports, "We have reason to believe that Obama's real reason for trashing Apple is that his beloved daughter Sasha, recently broke her iPod Touch, and began crying."
So, is economy or bratty child the real reason for Apple's smash? In any case, Obama was quoted as saying, "PCs are definitely better." Is our President biased? The world may never know...
