London - (Britton's Got Mellons! & Ass Mess): Singing sensation Susan Boyle has offered to go to Iran to help release jailed Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi recently convicted of spying.

"If my voices is heard in Iran today, I'd be thrilled to travel with a delegation to Iran, if we are permitted, and make an appeal for her freedom," Boil-in-the Bag trilled.

The Britain's Got Talons! singer is keen to try out a new hostage release scheme involving continuous singing outside Tehran Women's Prison of hits from the classic 1960s Julie Andrews musical The Sound of Music.

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens! That would surely melt the hearts of the iciest of the Ayatollahs, don't you think?"

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
