image for Filthy Rich Children Taught Empathy
Buddy can you spare a quarter Tuesdays is a panhandling empathy exercise

An educational trend has taken hold in obscenely rich school districts around the US. As millions of bailout dollars flood these already opulent school systems, instructional leaders have been desperately searching for a way to spend the dollars.

A national movement toward teaching empathy to the poor little rich kids from the homes of the bankers, arms manufacturers and hedge fund billionaires who have bankrupted homes of the average income free and brave has been launched in every Scotts, Scars Dale and Cherry Hill.

ScarsdaleHill Not Really a Public School Superintendant explained that empathy exercises like writing letters to deported household help in their native language, walking in the shoes of their teachers' children by wearing gently used Abercrumbie and Flinch label apparel and sacrificing the surf from from their usual Wednesday steak and lobster candlelight lunch have brought "Powerful experiences of suffering with the have nots whom these children will never have the misfortune of meeting on their way to Ivy League schools and on to, please God, economically recovered Wall Street!"

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
