A man in Beloit, Wisconsin made sure a pair of burglars didn't get away with his two flat-screen televisions and computers - he moved their getaway van.
Henry Nicholson was in the basement of his Alexander Street home on Thursday when he heard the burglars upstairs moving things around and towards the front door.
The Beloit Times says the 36-year-old Nicholson, who had been laid off from his job as a bank manager, called 911 while he sneaked out of the house.
Then he saw a light blue van sitting in front of his house with the motor running and the keys in the ignition, and he got in and drove it to the police station.
Police say the burglars left the televisions, a laptop computer and a jewelry box by the door and had apparently ran off by foot.
Meanwhile officers back at the station were tracing down the van owner and/or crooks.
Anyone in the Beloit area need a bank employee who thinks on his feet, better call Nicholson.
