Emerging news is that a member of a secret training programme run by the CIA may have turned rogue and taken control of an M1 Abrams battle tank.
Reports indicate that in 2000 George W. Bush approved the creation of the CIA proposed "Operation Rattlesnake".
From the information that this journalist has been able to access, the programme was aimed at training American babies as young as 6 months old, to survive in battle conditions and to be able fulfill key military objectives should the need arise in a wartime situation.
The training centre used was the Los Angeles US Marine Corps training centre, which does house a number of battle ready armoured tanks.
It appears that one of the babies has taken control of one of these tanks and is, at the time of going to press, driving it along the Santa Monica Freeway. So far around 130 vehicles have been seriously damaged.
Speaking at a press conference, General D.C. Fitzroy stated "the unfortunate situation is that this baby knows all of our military tactics. As such this young man is going to be extremely difficult to stop".
A number of child welfare groups have spoken out against this highly controversial project.
It is not known where the baby is intending to drive the tank to at this time.
