The Singer/actress and second Television's Catwoman Eartha netted herself two Emmys and a slew of Tony and Grammy nominations. The self proclaimed "sex kitten" was renowned for purring vocals and continued her feline ways even out of costume.
Eartha's career spanned 60 years from strutting as a cabaret dancer and furniture clawer to a breakthrough RCA recording
contract.
Her multilingual versatility brought her international acclaim.
Miss Kitt was put down on Christmas Day and was buried at a cemetery in Maine near the Stephen King residence.
