A Florida man has been charged with second-degree murder after he strangled his roommate during an argument over cigarettes.
Willy Blocke was arrested yesterday, according to Tampa police, who said the suspect killed Dock Bamar Ming, 43, when he put him in a choke hold during the argument.
Police were called to the home because Ming said he wanted Locke to move out. By the second call, Ming was dead.
"How many times does the Surgeon General have to come on TV and warn you guys before you listen? Cigarettes will kill you!", stated a head-shaking Sargeant Bilko.
Locke has been accused of hurting Ming before, according to police records. "But after all, this is Marboro Country and pretty rough" stated Officer Bilko.
"Maybe we need more regulations. But there are warnings of cigarettes being hazardous to your health on every pack."
"If only they'd raised the tax on these things, this might not have happened", pleaded Blocke.
"Where you're going son, there's no smoking now. But someone will probably give you something to puff on."
