Virginia - In a gesture expected to cause a slight lifting of Barack Obama's left eyebrow region (similar to that of Spock's), it was announced Wednesday night that the President hopeful is "very concerned" about the ongoing Israeli/Palestinian problem.
A spokesperson for the Illinois Senator's left eyebrow told reporters that it would be "lifting still farther upward with care to show a spirit of careful thought, caution and discretion."
It remains unclear whether this move will actually have any immediate effect on the Mid-East but neither has any other gesture by the United State's Presidents over the past 30 years.
"Senator Obama is very aware that, considering the seriousness of the current Mid-East situation, complete forehead coverage is a possibility, but it is not making any decision at this time," the spokesperson also stated that the situation will take still more careful thought.
Many insiders predict that Obama's lips may set in a firm line, corresponding to a thoughtful look and even the possibility of the Senator leaning back in his chair with his hands locked behind his head.
