The campaign of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama was upset by a cartoon on the cover of New Yorker Magazine depicting the Senator dressed in a Muslim outfit and his wife dressed in para-military garb carrying an AK-47 while a portrait of Osama Bin Laden hung over a fireplace in which burned an American flag.
After voicing their displeasure to the editor of the popular magazine, the two sides met and came to an agreement that seems to please both parties.
A visibly relieved New Yorker spokesman explained the settlement to reporters. "On the cover of the next issue of New Yorker Magazine, we will feature a cartoon showing Senator McCain dressed in a Muslim outfit with his wife dressed in para-military garb carrying an AK-47 while a portrait of Osama Bin Laden hangs over a fireplace in which burns an American flag."
"I'm glad we've got this behind us now," said Senator Obama.
