(CNN) - The Obama campaign has issued a complaint regarding Barack Obama's smearing of Barack Obama during Barack Obama's interview on Larry King Live. During the interview Barack Obama stated "…ultimately, the buck stops with me".
A spokesperson for the Obama campaign claimed "the irresponsible use of the word 'buck' is an obvious smear referring to the slang term for black male slaves during America's inhumane and unforgivable slave days."
In response to the Obama campaign's complaint of the usage of the word "buck" Barack Obama has issued the following statement: "I apologize to Barack Obama for my thoughtless use of the derogatory term. I meant no harm and wish Mr. Obama the best of luck in his remarkable campaign".
In response to the apology Barack Obama replied "naturally I will accept Mr. Obama's apology. Sometimes during an interview we don't always use the words we truly mean. I don't think Mr. Obama intended to smear my campaign. Let's just put this past us and move forward with my remarkable campaign".
