Washington D.C. - Senator Barack Obama today announced his plan for the poor American economic condition.
"We're gonna go with what got me here......hope & change." said a grinning Obama. "We'll just hope for change!" he said enthusiastically.
"When I was a poor, down-trodden black boy, living under the oppressive Jim Crow laws back in Hawaii, I could not get a job. Bitter white business owners closed their doors. I played a jew's harp on the street corner and I hoped for change."
"Through a miracle of God, change appeared in my hat!" Obama explained. "Now...if we did that on a massive scale....like with tens of millions of jobless and homeless Americans, we'll pitch it all in a pot and give it to who needs it most......black people!"
