Former pastor to Barack Obama and controversial minister Jeremiah Wright was announced today as the new head of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People). After his recent statements that gave him such negative publicity, this announcement was a shock to many people.
The Reverend's first official task on the job was to change the name of the organization. "We are no longer negros. We are not niggers. We are not coloreds or colored people. We are blacks. I am a black man. My descent is from Africa, but I am a Black American, not an African American."
"The new name of our organization will be Black American Superiority, Triumphantly Applauding Radical Diviciveness. BASTARD for short."
"I intend to use this pulpit to run straight through the heart of this country, tearing apart the cherished traditions of whitey. They gave us AIDS. They put us in the ghetto. They made us have to live on welfare. They made us drop out of school. They made and designed their laws so that many of our young people would go to jail."
