After a third, this might actually start to look like a good choice.

Absinthe was taken off of the liquor store shelves and out of the bars and saloons of the United States over 100 years ago. Doctors, at the time, said that the drink caused blindness, seizures, and insanity.

President Bush, however, was a proponent of the drink and spearheaded the movement to legalize it again in the U.S.. "I've been drinking it for years whenever I travel internationally and to other countries and it never has affected me one bit. I'm just as smart as I always were," said Bush.

The drink is an alcoholic beverage flavored with several herbs. It was most commonly drunk in the last century with a sugar cube melted with water into the drink.

Most bartenders recommend no more than two glasses. After that, they say, the ugly ones in the bar start to look good. As they say, Absinthe really does make the heart grow fonder.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
